Why does my filter make a gurgling noise?

A gurgling or dripping sound coming from your RO system is usually the sound of wastewater going down the drain. This is a normal part of the reverse osmosis process, as the system flushes out contaminants and sends them to the drain. The sound should stop after a few minutes once the tank is full.
