How to clean digital backwash filter

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
  • Drain the System: Begin by closing the main inlet valve. Open a tap downstream to drain any residual water remaining in the pipeline. Locate the "flush button" and press it to discharge any residual water from the filter bottle.
  • Remove the Filter Bottle: Utilize the supplied wrench to unscrew the filter bottle by turning it in clockwise direction indicated by the arrow. Carefully remove the stainless steel filter screen and components.
  • Clean the Filter Screen: Employ a soft brush and clean water to meticulously remove any accumulated impurities from the surface of the stainless steel filter screen.
  • Reassemble the Filter: Once cleaning is complete, reassemble the filter. Place the cleaned components and filter screen back into the pre-filter housing, and then screw the filter bottle back on.
  • Tighten the Filter Bottle: Using the wrench, firmly tighten the filter bottle in counter clockwise direction. (If resistance is encountered while tightening the filter bottle during reassembly, loosen it slightly before retightening)
