Bubbles in Water After New installation or Changing Your Filter Cartridge: Is It Normal?
If you've just replaced your water filter cartridge and are seeing bubbles in your water, don’t worry—this is a normal occurrence. When a new cartridge is manufactured, it's filled with air rather than water. After installation, as water flows through the filter for the first time, the trapped air is gradually released in the form of bubbles. This can cause the water to appear cloudy or contain small bubbles for a short period.
To resolve this, simply run water through the filter for a few minutes to help purge the remaining air. After 2-3 weeks, your water should return to its normal clarity, and the bubbles will disappear. This process is part of the cartridge's initial setup and doesn't affect the quality of your filtered water.
